From Caplis to TIS PL
The launch of TIS PL – which will definitively replace the Caplis system when it comes to an end on 31st March – will involve several changes. Furthermore, the application of the Eurovignette Directive on 1st May 2008 will modify considerably the methods of granting discounted tariffs to the transporters.

Calculation of discounts
With the new system, each motorway concession company will continue to fix its own commercial conditions. Eurotoll enables you to benefit from these discounts in full transparency.
The French motorway companies' services will evolve progressively in such a way as to conform with the principles of the Eurovignette Directive by 1st May 2008 :
- Discounts will be calculated per vehicle and not per fleet,
- Discounts will be limited to a maximum of 13% of the toll tariff,
- Range according to the Euro class of the vehicle
The Discount Programmes
The French motorway companies are proposing two types of discount programmes :
- Programmes without any initial expense but giving the right to discount with minimum consumption,
- Programmes accessible on the condition of an entry fee and giving access to discount starting from the first euro in toll charges.

Only 4 of the motorway companies have fixed an entry fee for access to their discount programme :
- With AREA, this is compulsory and applies automatically to all tags travelling on its network,
- For APRR, Sanef and SAPN, you can choose to subscribe or not according to your fleet's cost profile.
